Maintaining consistently its commitment to becoming a global player in the office furniture industry through investments, Bürotime opened its new overseas showroom in Skopje, Macedonia on October 4, 2018.
Turkey’s global brand Bürotime continues to strengthen its presence in the Balkans by opening a concept showroom in Macedonia after a franchise store opening in Kosovo in recent months.
The opening cocktail was attended by Bürotime Board Chairman Hüseyin Tosunoğlu, Bürotime General Manager Şaban İren, Bürotime International Sales Director Ahu Akder, Chairman of the Macedonian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce Ajdovan Ademovski, Trade Counsellor for Skopje Taner Demirci as well as some of the leading business people, designers and architects in Macedonia.
Opened in collaboration with SPS ENGINEERING, one of the well-established and strong companies in Macedonia, the franchise store attracted huge interest in the region. Laid on an area of 367 m2, the concept showroom featured the newest products that have been awarded with some of the most important design awards including the Red Dot Design, iF Design and German Design and setting the future office trends with a mix of Turkish design identity and Bürotime’s elegant line.
Emphasizing the importance of the Turkish design identity in Bürotime’s global brand journey set out on a sustainable design approach, Bürotime Board Chairman Hüseyin Tosunoğlu said; “Thanks to this widespread network of franchise stores we have been able to create, we are advancing in the world market with our products that have been awarded the most prestigious design awards in both national and international platforms. While strengthening our global journey thanks to our 3rd franchise store in the Balkans and 13th franchise store worldwide, we are also proud to be exhibiting the perfect harmony of aesthetic and functionality in the Turkish design identity. We are continuing our journey of becoming an international, which started in 2002 with our first international sales in 2002, growing through our concept showrooms.”
